Rocon's site-based workforce are
literally of all ages, from school leavers to those
nearing retirement, and come from many varied backgrounds.
Many of our guys have been with the company for decades,
and we feel that is testament to the good working environment
enjoyed here at Rocon. |

Managing Director,
Chris Longhurst has been with Rocon for over
30 years now, and together with his Contract Management
responsibilities, he also manages the day to day running
of the business. |

Mark Edney, Director,
joined the Company in 1983 starting as an assistant
to a Site Engineer (Chainman) and progressed into Site
Supervision and Contract Management. Now, primarily
responsible for Estimating, he has been a Director of
the Company since 1992. |

Dean Smith, Director,
joined the Company in 1998 with a background in Site
Engineering. Having completed his HND soon after joining
and working 'through the ranks' Dean became a Director
on 1st January 2006 and is primarily involved in Contract
Management & Estimating. |

Company Secretary, Gill Robbins
has been working for the Company since 1986. As part
of her responsibilities as Company Secretary Gill is
primarily responsible for the Company accounts and paying
the salaries. |

Contracts Manager, Jamie
Powell joined Rocon in August 2001 direct from
school. Having completed his HNC in Building Studies
in 2005, he is now in the final year of a BSc Hons Degree
in Construction, which he is studying on a day release
basis at The Solent University. |

Purchasing Manager, Karen
Murphy recently joined the company from a National
Builders Merchants, and has extensive experience in
the sourcing and buying of construction materials. |
