At all times, every possible measure
must be taken to secure:
a) The protection of all watercourses, including those
underground, from silting, erosion, flooding and/or
pollution.
b) The control of noise emission, dust, and/or air pollutants.
c) The control of working hours and their effect on
the surroundings.
d) The protection of the soil/sub-soil or underlying
strata, together with surrounding properties, structures
or highways, from possible contamination, subsidence
or damage.
e) The protection of all indigenous plant or animal
life.
f) The control of any risk to the individual, group
or property in its surrounding environment, together
with the use of environmentally compatible materials,
methods and work ethics.
g) The use of re-cycled or natural resources.
h) The control of waste or by-products.
i) The compliance with all applicable legal, or other,
requirements relating to these works.
j) The commitment to continual improvement and prevention
of pollution.
